AN
ANZAC Day web site has been launched in time for this year’s 90th
anniversary of the Gallipoli landings.
The site went live on April 15, in dedication to the men and women
of the ADF. It features photographs, videos and information on
deployed ADF elements around the globe, as well as links to other
resources, such as the Department of Veterans Affairs and the
Returned and Services League.
The site provides people with updated ADF ANZAC Day material from
Gallipoli and Iraq, Sumatra, Solomon Islands, Timor Leste and
major local events.
During this year’s 90th commemorations at Gallipoli, a number
of special events will take place, including a Beat Retreat parade
by the Australia’s Federation Guard.
Further details on Gallipoli events as well as links to other
ANZAC Day related sites are available on the ANZAC Day web site
at www.defence.gov.au/anzacday.
