water rafting |

THE Army White Water Association’s (AWWA) annual general
meeting will be held at the Coffs Harbour Services Club
from 7pm on June 12. White water rafting, white water kayaking
and sea kayaking activities suitable for advanced and novice
paddlers will be conducted on the weekend. More information

Hockey

ACT
combined Service hockey is seeking nominations for players,
coaches and team managers for men and women’s teams to participate
in the ADF combined Services hockey championships. The competition
will be held in Albury from May 14 to 20. Permanent and
Reserve members of the ADF are eligible to attend. For more

Basketball |

REGULAR,
Reserve and civilian Defence employees are invited to nominate
as players, coaches and referees for the 2005 ACT/ Wagga
inter-service basketball competition. The competition will
be played at the ADFA gymnasium from July 22 to 24. Personnel
competing as players and officials may gain selection for
the ACT combined services team to compete at the ADFBA National
Championships to be held at Williamtown from October 28
